Class guidelines
Please:
-
Arrive a few minutes early to class so that we can start on time and finish on time
-
Stay until the end of the class, including final relaxation – Savasana, as this is the most important part of the practice where you absorb all the benefits.
-
Don’t check your phone during class. If there are exceptional circumstances and you need to check your phone please let me know in advance. Otherwise try to switch off!
Your health and wellbeing
Yoga is a safe and effective form of exercise, and I take great care to ensure your wellbeing. However, it is your responsibility to ensure the classes you take and the variations you choose are appropriate for your body. If you have any health concerns, it is your responsibility to discuss these with a healthcare professional before joining my classes.
When practising online, please adapt in ways suitable for you, take breaks as you need and practice in a safe space. Should you feel unwell or feel pain, stop immediately and seek advice from a medical professional. If in doubt about a pose or sequence, don’t do it. I recommend you don’t eat 2 hours before class and make sure you are well hydrated 2 hours before the session.
By booking a class with me, you agree to honour your body by adjusting the practice to your own capabilities and needs to ensure that no personal injury occurs.
I look forward to welcoming you to my classes.
